CSE and Compliance

The September 2010 presentation Common Coordination Issues, from the Brooklyn Charter School Student Support Agency, addresses common coordination issues facing schools with Special Education students.

The Child Assistance Program (CAP)

The Child Assistance Program (CAP) is a computerized data collection system that was developed and implemented as a result of the 1979 Jose P. federal court decision, mandating the New York City Department of Education to develop a data system to track the process students go through when referred for possible special education services.  The website is here.
