How do I open a charter school in New York City? How can the Charter Center help me?

Print
The process for starting a charter school is complex.  In order to open a charter school you must first complete a charter application and have your ‘charter’ authorized by either the New York City Department of Education, New York State Education Department or the Charter School Institute at SUNY.  The Charter Center works with start-up teams and provides them with space to incubate their schools as well as consultation services and workshops.  For more information please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
