Programs & Services

  • The Special Education Collaborative provides schools with the community, resources, and expert guidance needed to create a successful program and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • The Charter Center hosts a Charter School Test Scoring Consortium to coordinate the scoring of the constructed responses of the statewide English Language Arts and mathematics exams for grades 3-8.

Issues & Research

Charter schools are public schools, but their access to public facilities is limited and tenuous. Other charter schools dip into their operating funds to pay for rent or mortgages in privately-owned buildings.
