Overview
We offer workspaces for teams who’ve been awarded a charter and need a space to finalize their plans and prepare for opening their doors. With resources and advisors readily available, incubation teams can set aside distractions and fully focus on their goal: opening a great charter school.
Incubation space includes:
- Desk-space for up to two people
- Internet, phone and fax access
- Support from Charter Center staff
- Conference Rooms
- Copy room
- Mailbox
Successful Applicants
- Are recently authorized
- Demonstrate a need for the space
- Show high potential
- Demonstrate a desire to collaborate
Expectations
- Complete participation in post-authorization/start-up training
- Attend at monthly meetings with Charter Center staff and Incubator cohort
- Participate in post-incubation workshops to share best practices for new school development
